Tweed Gyprock

Gyprock is commonly known as gypsum board, drywall, or plasterboard. Tweed gyprock is easy to apply and faster to put up and provides insulation, soundproofing, and water-resistance. Gyprock can speed up the construction process and provides a very smooth finish on walls for easy painting. Gyprock is an environmentally sound construction material. It is made from recycled newspapers and other paper-based materials such as cartons with gypsum minerals and non-toxic additives.

Gyprock is completely different from fiberboard, plywood, or other paneling material. They have superior fire-resistance due to the non-combustible materials used in their manufacture. Gyprock can be installed anywhere a paneling is required and they are commonly installed as paneling for walls and ceilings. Gyprock is a very versatile and adaptable construction and repair material. They can easily be cut, fitted, and installed to meet any construction and architectural requirement and are unmatched in ease of application and repair.

Gyprock is faster and easier to install. Gyprock panels are the ideal plasterboard to cover large areas such as walls and ceilings. It is also a very lightweight material that is easy to cut and fit and can easily be connected using a variety of readily available fasteners, and due to the lightness of gyprock paneling, only a few workers are required to fit and install it thus greatly reducing labor and material costs.

Gyprock paneling and plasterboards also have superior fire resistance properties. Due to their non-combustible and chemically bound water manufacture, gyprock is commonly used in rooms or locations where superior fire-resistant properties are required for construction and structural purposes. Gyprock paneling and plasterboards are also tested to have a low fire and smoke index that helps prevent heat transfer and greatly reduces fire spread. Gyprock also can fully protect structural elements from fire damage within a certain period.

Superior sound isolation and proofing qualities are also inherent in gyprock paneling and plasterboards. When installed as wall and ceiling panels, gyprock paneling and plasterboards are very effective in controlling and reducing sound levels and transmission within and between rooms. If sound suppression and reduction are specifically required during construction, gyprock paneling and plasterboards are superior in preventing unnecessary sounds and noise from being transmitted in all living areas of a structure.

Gyprock paneling and plasterboards are also durable and economical. They can be considered as drywall due to their dimensional stability and can be easily adorned and repaired. Gyprock paneling is also inexpensive compared to other types of ceiling and wall paneling and is readily available in various sizes for easy installation and with minimal fitting requirements that make labor costs on installations and repairs relatively inexpensive.

Gyprock paneling and plasterboards are environment friendly and highly recyclable, making it a safe and highly recommended material for ceiling and wall construction. It is now commonly used by contractors for ceiling and wall installations and repairs. Being relatively inexpensive to purchase and install, gyprock paneling and plasterboards are economical and cost-effective thus greatly reducing project and labor costs. Gyprock paneling and plasterboards are a highly recommended, superior, and relatively inexpensive material to consider whenever home and office renovations, repairs, or construction are planned.
